You’ll begin your journey travelling from London to Johannesburg or Cape Town if preferred followed by two short flights to your final destination of Mfuwe. You’ll be collected and travel by road to The Bushcamp Company which takes around 45 minutes in an open game-viewing vehicle. There you will have the option of 8 properties, all located inside South Luangwa National Park and each offering a unique safari experience. During your 5 night visit you will enjoy private game drives with expert guides, private walking safaris in one of the top walking areas on the continent providing a totally unique safari experience. And if you’re lucky and visit between late October and mid-December you might see elephants walk through the lodge to feast on the fallen fruits from the large wild mango tree in the lodge grounds!

The trip doesn’t end there, you’ll then take a flight from Mfuwe to Lusaka and then onto Livingstone where you’ll be collected and travel for 30 minutes by car to Mukwa River Lodge on the beautiful Zambezi River. Mukwa River Lodge provides accommodation fit for royalty and embodies the essence of bush chic. Every creature comfort is thoughtfully provided, accompanied by 5-star service and exquisite dining comparable to that of an award-winning restaurant. During this part of the trip you’ll get to explore the water that feeds this luscious part of the world, with a visit to the magnificent Victoria Falls and ample opportunity to meander down the Zambezi for a sundown river boat ride, spotting animals as they congregate along its banks or have a go at white-water rafting or kayaking.
